Reunion Journeys · Come Back Together

Bring Your Group Back

The bus that walked this land once can walk it again, deeper.

“And the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing.”

ISAIAH 35:10

You already became a group. That was the hard part.

Somewhere there is a photograph of a bus. Your bus. The people you waded the Jordan with, sang with on the water, went quiet with in the Garden. Most journeys spend their first three days turning strangers into a group. A reunion journey skips those days completely. You walk in as one, and the land meets you that way.

I have watched it for years now: people from one bus keep praying together long after the plane lands. Some of them stand on my prayer wall to this day. A journey like that is not finished. It is waiting.

What coming back looks like

Not a repeat. A return. These are the bones of it, and the rest is built around your group.

The same people, deeper

Beyond the first journey

We do not race through what you already saw. We go deeper into the places that moved you, and I take you to the ones the buses never stop at, the springs, the quiet ridges, the corners of this land I keep for people who come back.

A home, not a hotel chain

Based at the farm

In the north you live at Havat HaChaim, the Farm of Life, in sight of the Sea of Galilee. Out each morning, home each evening, no packing and unpacking. Then down the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem for the last nights.

The honest arithmetic

By the day, not the seat

Guiding and the vehicle are priced by the day, the same for two travelers or twelve. What strains a budget for a couple spreads gently across a bus. Coming back together costs each of you less than coming back alone.

How it always starts

One gatherer

Every reunion begins with one person who asks the others: who still has it in their heart? If that person is you, you do not need dates or a plan. You need a rough count. Send me that, and I build everything else.

If the group will not form

Coming on your own

Sometimes the friends have gone with their own churches and the bus you hoped for is not coming. Come anyway. Tell me you are two, or four, and I will place you with the next group that walks with me, or build a quiet few days for just you. Nobody who longs to come back is turned away for lack of a crowd.

In your own currency

A day, in plain numbers

Guiding and the vehicle together are US$1,000 a day for up to five people. At today's rate that is about C$1,390, roughly A$1,500, or about NZ$1,650. Rates move, so I quote the exact figure when we book, never a surprise after.

The first journey is about seeing. The return is about belonging.

The first time, everything is new and the days run fast. The second time you are free. Free to stand longer at the water, to read the whole chapter instead of the famous verse, to pray without watching the clock. You come back to the land the way you come back to a friend, not to be introduced, but to continue.

And between the two journeys, nothing was lost. The letters kept coming, the prayers kept rising, the land kept its place in you. That is why the return runs so deep. You never really left.

Take the first soundings

Do not organize anything yet. Answer two questions, roughly how many hearts, and roughly which season, and I will build the journey around your answer and put real numbers next to it.

Dates and how it works

The Second Journey · March or April 2027

A reunion is a group that already exists. The Second Journey is the trip itself: ten to fourteen people, eight or nine days, two named windows, and a route built from the places a first pilgrimage never reached. One page holds the dates, the honest costs and the three-question reply.
